EdVentures West Roswell Campus
Our West Roswell campus provides a vibrant learning space for students who enjoy a relaxed, hands-on, standards-aligned, learning experience in an intimate setting. Students are grouped into academic cohorts that best suit their individual learning profiles to ensure we meet each student at their personal challenge point. Our scaled-rigor approach offers opportunities for acceleration and/or support depending on the needs of the child.
We specialize in reading and offer the Orton Gillingham approach in our primary and reading-support cohorts. Our supportive education option is perfect for students with mild learning challenges such as processing disorders, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and/or dyscalculia.

General Information
Student Body
We serve engaged and enthusiastic learners. We accept neurotypical students and students with specific learning challenges such as dyscalculia, dyslexia, and dysgraphia. Our expectation is that students are willing and active participants who are excited to learn. Students are expected to come to class prepared and ready to do their best. Our small environment makes a great choice for students with mild to moderate anxiety.  We are not equipped to enroll students with disruptive, aggressive, and/or non-compliant tendencies.
Teachers
Our teachers are loving, creative, and nurturing professionals who are highly qualified and experienced. Each teacher possesses a minimum of a bachelor's in education, with most possessing a masters degree, GA certification, and multiple specialties. All primary teachers are trained in the OG approach.
Learning Climate
We offer a warm and nurturing learning environment with a teacher to student ratio of 1:6 for primary students and up to 8 or upper elementary. Our students enjoy a small, calm, compassionate, stress-reduced learning environment with a community of peers who respect and encourage each other. We understand that a supportive, community-oriented environment better serves overall academic development and mental health than a traditional setting for many students.
Instructional Approach
Our instructional approach is hands-on, multisensory, and interactive, allowing students to truly engage in their own learning. We offer a 'quality over quantity' approach and believe children learn best when they are having fun!
Curriculum
Our curriculum is curated to meet the specific needs of our hybrid model. Our goal is to ensure students learn key standards and concepts in the core subjects, without overwhelming or overburdening students with copious amounts of seat work or home study. To that end, we have put together a mix of teacher-created materials, hands-on instructional approaches, trade curriculum, workbooks, literature, and texts to create the most efficient, yet effective programming for our students.
Home Study
Students in the 2-day Essentials Hybrid program will receive approximately 60 - 90 minutes of home study two timers per week, while students in our comprehensive programs will complete the 'home study' component in class on their alternate days. The goal of our home study curriculum is to review, reinforce, and solidify key classroom concepts. This approach allows plenty of time for families to pursue personal interests, join social groups, go on field trips, attend enrichment classes, and more!
